Before you begin

  • At least one ready instrument assigned to a channel.

The performance workspace

The mixer brings instrument channels, category buses and master controls into one workspace.Pixel 10a
  • Tap the instrument name to open its picker.
  • Drag the channel fader to balance its level.

The phone compresses the preset/setlist navigation into menus so the mixer stays usable in landscape. Opening a lower editor may collapse the sidebar; return to the mixer when you need the full overview.

The top bar opens the preset library, setlists, recording tools, Worship Pads and Settings. Select a strip before opening Attributes or FX so you edit the intended channel or bus.

Mixer control reference

Channel, category-bus and master strips share the mixer workspace.Pixel 10a
  • Tap the instrument name to open its picker.
  • Drag the channel fader to balance its level.

Start with the final output low, then bring instrument faders up one at a time. Meters indicate activity; a moving meter does not guarantee that your selected hardware output is audible.

Instrument / strip selection
Selects a channel for editing. Tap its instrument area to replace its sound.
Fader
Sets that strip’s mix level. Keep enough output headroom when stacking layers.
Mute / Solo
Mute silences a channel; Solo isolates selected channels. Check these before investigating missing audio.
Gain / Pan
Gain trims the instrument level; Pan positions the signal across the stereo output.
Category buses
Factory instruments route to their category bus automatically; bus faders process the group before the final output.
Master Mute / Panic
Master Mute silences the final output. Panic stops hanging notes when a controller or sustained note gets stuck.
Preset level / transpose
Changes the current preset’s overall level or transposition independently of a channel’s settings.

Lower panes

Layers makes ranges and overlapping sounds visible.Pixel 10a
  • Tap Edit Layers before changing note ranges.
  • Read each colored bar for its layer's playable note range.

Layers compares instrument ranges. Attributes opens Settings, Input and Velocity for the selected channel. FX manages MIDI tools and audio processing. States stores alternate scenes within the preset. The keyboard provides direct touch input. Hold latches notes until you turn it off; channels ignoring sustain are excluded from Hold. The pitch wheel changes tuning while the modulation wheel drives the assigned CC1 response. Stage/Pro quick-control Assign buttons let you choose an available parameter for the mixer strip.

Playing without external hardware

The full performance keyboard is shown in the selected device layout.Pixel 10a
  • Play a key to audition the current sound.

Open the onscreen keyboard and tap or hold keys. Use its range controls to reach other registers. Keyboard navigation changes the visible window; Input > Low Key/High Key determines which notes a channel accepts.

Free Demo silences some keys, so use a permitted note when checking playback. The onscreen keyboard is useful for setup and rehearsal; physical MIDI velocity and pedal behavior depend on the connected controller.

  1. Select a ready instrument channel and open the keyboard.
  2. Play a short chord; check its channel meter and the output meter.
  3. Release the chord. If it persists unexpectedly, check sustain and use Panic.

What you should have now

You can move between the mixer and editors, set a safe balance, and play from the onscreen keys.

Common problems

Wrong sound changes
Confirm the selected strip before using Attributes or FX.
Everything is silent
Check master Mute, output volume, Solo, audio routing and library readiness.
Notes keep sounding
Release sustain; if necessary use Panic, then check the MIDI device and pedal messages.
